I imaged a loose MSX cassette titled `不思議の国のアリス` (ふしぎのくにのアリス/Fushigi no Kuni no Alice, i.e. "Alice in Wonderland") containing the Japanese Micro Cabin release of Fushigi no Kuni no Alice. This game is based loosely on the same-named book and may also be related to the serialized Japanese TV anime adaptation. Both sides contained the same data. The same software is catalogued elsewhere with some extra trailing NUL bytes and a pause inside the first program as `Alice's Adventure in Wonderland (1984)(MicroCabin)[CLOAD + RUN]`. This game consists of two separate CLOAD+RUN'able executables, one serving as title screen and introduction and the other containing the game itself. The game is written entirely in BASIC. The code `MCC024D30` is stamped on the spine of the cassette and may be a media serial number of some kind. Run this game on an MSX with no disk ROM, or hold the Shift key while booting. This game allows you to input all words in either katakana or English, though the spelling of two of the English works was surprising to me: `catapillar` and `tako`. Modern players may be surprised to see 5.25" and 3.5" floppy disks used for scale!

CAS image fingerprint for the software found on both sides:

Raw 24-bit stereo 44100 Hz FLAC audio was imaged using a Nakamichi BX-125 tape deck and a Steinberg UR22mkII USB ADC with Audacity under Win11 and is intended to be archival, CAS is for emulator use, and WAV is regenerated from CAS for the benefit of an actual MSX. Short filenames and long ones contain the same data.
